The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
The event was attended by Bui Duc Hinh,
Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial
People’s Committee, along with leaders of the provincial Military Command.

Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee presents
certificates of merit to officers engaging in the military parade celebrating
the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
The provincial Military Command had nine
female service members who took part in the event. These individuals
demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, actively overcame difficulties,
strictly complied with all rules, regulations, and training plans, and successfully
fulfilled the assigned tasks. All nine servicewomen were recognised and awarded
by military authorities at various levels.
Among them, one officer received a
certificate of merit from the Minister of National Defence. Three were
presented certificates of merit by the Chief of the General Staff of the
Vietnam People’s Army. Five others were honoured by the Command of Military
Region 3.
In recognition of their achievements, the
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee decided to present certificates
of merit to all nine female service members.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the
provincial People’s Committee Bui Duc Hinh praised and congratulated the nine
for their outstanding performance.
He noted that their success created a
highlight in the province's implementation of national defence and military
tasks for the year 2025. He expressed his hope that upon returning to their
units, the servicewomen would continue to overcome difficulties and work
closely with their comrades to accomplish all assigned missions.
Hinh assigned the provincial Military
Command the task of selecting, dispatching, and providing the best possible
conditions for service members to take part in training for the military parade
commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, on May 14 chaired a meeting of the provincial steering committee for its programme to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated housing for the poor. The session reviewed the programme’s outcomes to date and discussed forthcoming tasks.
The Steering Committee for Sci-tech Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 06 of Hoa Binh province held a conference on May 12 to review the 2024 results of the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index, Citizen Satisfaction Index, and Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI). The meeting was chaired by Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
Hoa Binh city was filled with a democratic atmosphere as local authorities conducted a survey of public opinions regarding the proposal to restructure provincial and communal administrative units during late April. The survey is considered a significant step, reflecting the administration's commitment to valuing the voices of the people on a major initiative that profoundly impacts the future development of the locality.
The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its regular monthly meeting on April 23 to review the socio-economic situation in April and the first four months of this year, and to provide feedback on draft documents to be submitted to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial People’s Council, along with other matters related to the province’s governance. Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, chaired the event.
