HBO – On the occasion of 109th International Women’s Day (March 8) and the 1979th anniversary of Trung Sisters’ Uprising, the Women’s Union of Hoa Binh province held a get-together for outstanding female managers, National Assembly deputies and entrepreneurs on March 6 evening.
Attending the event
was Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee; Tran Dang Ninh, Vice Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council; members of the provincial
Party Committee’s Standing Board and 37 outstanding female leading officials,
National Assembly deputies and entrepreneurs of the province.
Over the past years,
the province has paid attention to women-related affairs. The local Party
Committee issued Resolution No.17 on female personnel for 2015-2020 and the
following years. After three years of implementation, the rate of women
participating in Party Committees and being National Assembly deputies,
People’s Council officials, and leading officials at all three levels increases
compared with the previous tenure. Hoa Binh has also created favourable
conditions for women, particularly female entrepreneurs, to participate in
socio-economic and cultural affairs.

Every female official,
deputy and entrepreneur always upholds the responsibility of promoting
intelligence and morals of Vietnamese women in the nation’s industrialisation
and modernisation. Female entrepreneurs work hard toward effective business,
thus contributing to national development, and creating jobs and increasing
income for workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh wished female leading officials,
National Assembly deputies and entrepreneurs a good health and happiness. He
expressed his hope that they will learn more and improve their morals to act as
examples for others, and at the same time increase the professional level and
creativeness to fulfill all assigned tasks and contribute more to the province
and the nation.
