(HBO) – The Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) Committee of Hoa Binh province recently issued a plan on organising the 2020 "I love my Fatherland” journey. This is to implement the VYF work programme and youth movements this year along with the VYF Central Committee’s Plan No. 08, dated April 22, on the organisation of the 2020 journey.

The provincial VYF Committee presents gifts to young workers with disadvantages in Luong Son Industrial Park, part of the 2019 "I love my Fatherland” journey.

Accordingly, VYF chapters in the province will carry out the "I love my Fatherland” movement with practical and creative activities to attract the participation of a large number of young people. They will create a vibrant emulation atmosphere among the chapters, their cadres and members, and young people to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the liberation of the south and the national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2020), the 130th birthday of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – 2020), the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution, the 75th National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2020), and all-level Party congresses in the run up to the 13th National Party Congress.

The "I love my Fatherland” journey will help educate the young on patriotism and previous generations’ sacrifices, thereby encouraging them to make self-improvement so as to dedicate to the Fatherland and the people.

The 2020 "I love my Fatherland” journey will be held in four phases from April 29 to September 2 by all VYF chapters in the province. The first is themed "Thank the Fatherland”, the second "Young people follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”, the third "The July of gratitude”, and the fourth "Proud of Vietnam”.

Under its plan, the provincial VYF Committee will organise at least one "I love my Fatherland” festival at the provincial level. District-level committees and the management boards of their subordinate clubs will build plans and instruct their units to carry out activities of the journey.

Basing on each locality’s situation, celebrations and social welfare activities will be held. VYF members, groups and clubs will be encouraged to hang the national flag, wear national flag-themed T-shirts, and use the national flag image for their Facebook avatars during the journey. At least one "I love my Fatherland” festival will also be organised by each district-level VYF committee./.
