(HBO) – A working delegation of Son La province led by Hoang Van Chat, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Son La, paid a visit to Hoa Binh province on October 17 and presented 500 million VND (22,000 USD) to support flood victims of the province.
The delegation included
Cam Ngoc Minh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of
the Son La People’s Committee; and Bui Minh Son, Vice Standing Chairman of the provincial
People’s Council, along with representatives of some departments and sectors
and localities of Son La province.
The group was welcomed by Tran Dang Ninh, Vice Standing Secretary of the Hoa
Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hoa Binh People’s Council; Bui
Van Cuu, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh People’s Committee; and Hoang Van Tu,
Vice Standing Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and leaders of the Information
and Education Board, Vietnam Fatherland Front and Party Committee Office of Hoa
Binh province.
Secretary of the Son La provincial Party
Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Son La Hoang Van Chat
presents the donation worth 500 million VND to support affected people in
recent downpours and floods in Hoa Binh province.
On behalf of the working group, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee
and Chairman of the People’s Council of Son La province Hoang Van Chat expressed
his sympathy over losses on humans and property caused floods in Hoa Binh
province. He informed Hoa Binh officials of impacts of the recent floods and recovery
efforts by the Party, authorities and people of Son La.
He affirmed that although Son La still faces many difficulties, people in Son La
raised 500 million VND to help people in Hoa Binh overcome consequences of
natural disasters and stabilise their lives soon.

Ninh, Vice Standing Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of
the provincial People’s Council, expressed his thanks gratitude to the Party,
authorities and people of Son La for their support. He said he hoped the two
provinces continue maintaining the solidarity and provide each other help for development.
Vice Standing Secretary Ninh also briefed the working delegation of Son La on
the search for missing people and solutions to stabilise the live of people in
flood-hit areas./.
