Upon hearing about the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, officers and soldiers of the province's armed forces were shocked and deeply saddened. Through his working visits to Hoa Binh province, we learnt that Trong was a loyal leader to the Party and filial to the people, a profound intellectual and a great personality. He left many valuable lessons about Party building, building socialist law-governed State and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity and on building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern people's army in the new era.
Bidding farewell to the comrade, each officer and soldier of the provincial armed forces pledges absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. We will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's viewpoints and the state's policies and laws, striving to successfully realise the comrade's guiding ideology. We will strive to build the provincial armed forces to truly be a reliable and loyal political force of the Party Organisation, the administration, and the people of the ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province, making an important contribution to the construction and defence of Vietnam.

By following the media reports as well as from the three visits by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Hoa Binh, I found that the Party chief was a role model and a pioneer in innovating methods and working styles, notably his motto of always being close to the people and working for their benefit and speaking goes hand in hand with doing. Whenever visiting any locality, the General Secretary always took time to talk with local residents, from the elderly and children to youths and women. It was rare to see the General Secretary in a suit and tie but he mostly wears a jacket and leather sandals. These close and affectionate images create a positive and endearing impression among the people.
The life of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a shining example of close attachment to the people, respecting the people and being responsible to the people. Although the Party leader has passed away, his morality and lifestyle will be a bright example for future generations of party members and officials to follow.

Based on this ideology and our understanding, we have specific orientations, tasks, and solutions to address immediate tasks and thoroughly handle all aspects of Party building and rectification in the long-term.

I and residents of Dieu Luong village were deeply saddened upon learning of the passing of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
To the people of Dieu Luong village, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is a great, talented and virtuous leader who has lived a life of integrity for the well-being of the people.
Dieu Luong village is home to the Tay ethnic community, located at the highest point in the commune, where life used to be very difficult. Thanks to the care and investment of the Party and the State, the lives of local residents are now much better. The village now has expanded and concreted roads, and the national grid has reached every household.
In recent years, the country has recorded strong development but also faced many difficulties, especially dealing with corruption. Under the sound leadership of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the fight against corruption has obtained many important results. Many major corruption cases have been exposed, and many corrupt officials have been arrested, contributing to building a clean Party.

In the spirit of "Party members go first, the people follow”, all households of Party members in the Doan Ket sub-region in Da Bac town, Da Bac district, voluntarily removed gates and fences, and donated land when the road expansion project passed through their properties. Inspired by their example, 68 households in the sub-region quickly followed suit, contributing over 1,400 sq.m of residential and perennial cropland to widen the main road through the residential area. The exemplary role of Party members in Doan Ket stands as a shining example of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a monthly meeting on May 29 to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first six months of 2025, the progress of key projects, and some other important issues.
During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always expressed his deep affection and special concern for children and youth. He once emphasized: "Caring for and educating children well is the responsibility of the entire Party and the entire people”; "First of all, the family (i.e. grandparents, parents, siblings) must do this job well”. "the Party Committees…, the Children’s Committee, the Youth Union, the education sector, and all related organizations must have specific plans to ensure children grow healthier and more progressive”. His teachings has been remaining valuable and serving as the guiding principles in the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children. Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to provide opinions on several investment projects within the province. There was the attendance of Ms. Bui Thi Minh, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Bui Đuc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and other members of the Standing Committee; the leaders from other departments, agencies, and some localities.
The Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hoa Binh province held a meeting on May 28 to honour outstanding village elders, village heads, and reputable individuals from local ethnic minority and religious communities.
In mid-May, the provincial Museum organised an exhibition named "Duoi la co Dang Cong san Viet Nam quang vinh” (Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam).
