Hoa Binh Power Company works to ensure stable power supply amid rising demand.

In recent years, PC Hoa Binh has prioritised investment in building and upgrading its power infrastructure, considering it a crucial solution to improve quality, and ensure safe and stable supply. As the end of the year is a critical time when electricity loads are forecast to spike, raising the risk of grid overloading, the company has directed its affiliated units to conduct thorough inspections and reviews to promptly detect and address potential issues across the network.

Nguyen Phuc Thinh, Director of PC Hoa Binh, stated that the company has worked with the People’s Committees of districts and communes to speed up the progress of major repair and upgrade projects. Since the beginning of the year, 12 infrastructure projects have been completed, including the construction and upgrading of over 34 kilometres of medium-voltage lines, 84 kilometres of low-voltage lines, and the installation or capacity upgrade of 108 distribution substations.

In addition, the company has also ramped up efforts to promote energy conservation. Simple actions, such as turning off appliances when not in use and reducing the use of high-power devices during peak hours, can make a significant difference in maintaining a stable and safe power supply, Thinh added.
