As a gateway district adjacent to Hanoi and aiming for town status by 2025, Luong Son district has always paid attention to administrative procedure reform, focusing on cutting the number of procedures, reducing processing times, and lowering costs for citizens and businesses when carrying out administrative procedures.

The one-stop-shop division responsible for receiving and returning administrative procedure requests in Luong Son district has created favorable conditions for individuals and businesses seeking to complete administrative tasks.

Nguyen Thi Huong, a resident of Luong Son township, praised the staff at the district’s one-stop division for their efficient and helpful service. "They guided me through the process and completed the procedures as quickly as possible," she said.

Vice Chairman of the Luong Son Township People's Committee, Mai Van Truong, highlighted that the committee has assigned professional personnel to work at the one-stop-shop division, responsible for receiving and returning administrative requests, to meet the needs of the public. Administrative procedures and fee structures are published and regularly updated to ensure transparency and accessibility, he noted.

The district has implemented strong administrative reforms, integrating one-stop and interagency mechanisms to streamline services and ensure consistency. A key development has been the upgrade of electronic one-stop software to support document digitization and enhance the convenience of completing administrative procedures for citizens and businesses.

Since the start of the year, the district has received over 11,600 administrative requests. Details about administrative procedures are made public on district and commune-level electronic information portals, which are connected with the province's public service administrative portal and legal documentation systems.

The district also ensures transparency by publicly disclosing the results of administrative procedures. Information on planning, bidding, recruitment, and other key activities is constantly updated, providing residents and businesses with timely access to essential information.

Looking ahead, Luong Son district plans to intensify the inspection and supervision of administrative services at all units and localities, to prevent overdue or unresolved documents while identifying and strictly addressing any misconduct by officials or staff. These measures aim to enhance efficiency and ensure a seamless experience for citizens and businesses using administrative services.
