(HBO) - Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh province People’s Council Hoang Van Tu visited and presented gifts to representatives of the Muong Diem and Giang - Xeo Revolutionary Bases in Da Bac district on the occasion of Vietnam's August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

 Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Hoang Van Tu and the delegation offered incense at the war memorial stele in the Muong Diem Revolutionary Base in Trung Thanh commune and the monument at the Giang - Xeo Revolutionary Base in Cao Son commune.

 He had meetings with officials and people living in communes in the two bases.

 Tu praised the communes’ Party organisation and people for their efforts to overcome difficulties, and asked the local authorities to pay attention to embellishing and managing the historical relic sites.

 This is also an occasion for each local people to recall the revolutionary tradition of the nation and the locality as well in fighting foreign aggressions, contributing to the national liberation, he said.

 Tu suggested the Party organisation, authorities and people in communes continue promote the revolutionary tradition and solidarity as well as the economic, cultural and social development in the province, thus pushing the locality’s sustainable development.

 He took the occasion to present gifts from the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s chapter in the province to representatives of the communes of Trung Thanh, Cao Son, Hien Luong, Tu Ly and Hao Ly
