(HBO) - At An Lac Secondary & High School, Lac Thuy District Youth Union in cooperation with The Youth Union of Tran Hung Dao High School, Que Vo District (Bac Ninh) organized the launching the program of a winter volunteer in 2018 and spring volunteer in 2019. More than 100 members and Youth Union members joined the response activities.


The representatives of Lac Thuy District Youth Union and Tran Hung Dao High School Youth Union in Que Vo District (Bac Ninh) presented gifts to disadvantaged students of An Lac Secondary & High School.

The program of 2018 winter volunteer and 2019 spring volunteer in Lac Thuy district has the theme of "I Love My Fatherland", which runs from November 2018 to the end of February 2019. It focuses on four major programs: a warm winter for children; companion with the people; for the public health; organizing spring volunteer activities to support and care for the lunar new year of teenagers, youth workers and families in difficult living conditions. These activities can promote the role of the youth and the volunteering of the youth in socio-economic development, particularly in the areas of difficulties, natural disasters, storms, floods, cold weather, poverty reduction and hunger elimination, contributing to ensuring social security, building New Rural Areas, etc. At the same time, it can create an environment for young people to be trained, dedicatedand full grown; strengthening the unity and youth gathering, improving the quality of the Union and Association.

At the launching ceremony, the organizer awarded 5 scholarships, which is worth 500,000 VND each; 150 warm shirts; 6 blankets and 20 gifts, including books, school supplies for disadvantaged students at An Lac commune Secondaryand High School, with a total value of 24 million VND.
