(HBO) – The Department of Education and Training of the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh and the provincial association for promoting education, in cooperation with the Phuong Hoang golf course limited liability company, presented 300 scholarships worth 2 million VND (86 USD) each to outstanding disadvantaged students in 2018.

A ceremony to hand over the scholarships was attended by member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Tinh and leaders of provincial departments and sectors.



Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province Bui Van Tinh and leaders of Phuong Hoang golf course company present the scholarships to disadvantaged students with outstanding academic results.

This was the ninth year that Phuong Hoang company has handed over the scholarships to the province’s students. From 2010 to 2018, the company gave 2,000 scholarships worth total 4.55 billion VND (195,565 USD) to poor students in 11 districts and city of Hoa Binh province.



Leaders of the provincial association for promoting education hands over the honour certificates of promoting education to Phuong Hoang golf course company for its contributions to fostering education in the province.

Recipients of the scholarships were poor primary and secondary students of the province. The prompt support and scholarships are expected to help and motivate the disadvantaged students to continue their studies and earn high academic results, along with enhancing self studies and innovation. 

The scholarships have helped many needy students realise their dreams of going to schools and receiving education.

On the occasion, the association of promoting education presents the honour certificates of promoting education to Phuong Hoang company for its contributions to the province’s education development./.
