(HBO) - As of mid-March, Hoa Binh province had planted 597.98 ha of production forests. Of the figure, 128.42 ha were newly-grown, while 469.56 other were re-planted after exploitation. As many as 240,000 scattered trees of various kinds were also planted.
To realise the target of planting 5,650 ha of forests, since
the start of the year, localities in the province have responded to and
effectively carry out the tree planting festival to commemorate late President
Ho Chi Minh.
In addition, Hoa Binh has bolstered
communications work on the Forestry Law and documents guiding the
implementation of the law.
The province’s forest rangers have inspected
local seedling nurseries while asking affiliates to report, devise plans and
prepare equipment and conditions for implementing the task set for 2020./.
In Hoa Binh province, 11 traditional craft villages with more than 400 small-scaled production households have put in place a clean and green production model, establishing new standards for sustainable development. Waste collection sites and wastewater treatment facilities have been meticulously managed by local residents.
