(HBO) – Luong Son district is rolling out the 2021 OCOP programme, aiming to develop four products in the groups of food and pharmacy and upgrade another according to OCOP standards. The locality expects to have three-star OCOP products at the provincial level, and a three-star product to be upgraded to the four-star status.

Luong Son is striving to upgrade products of
Viba Banana Cooperative in Lien Son commune from three-star to four-star at the
provincial level, and develop four-star OCOP products like orange of Cao Ram
agriculture and trade service co-operative, tea of My Tan agriculture
co-operative in Cao Duong commune, longan of Vai Dao agriculture cooperative in
Cao Son commune, and cao xa den (scientifically known as Celastrus hindsii
Benth) of a local household in Cao Duong commune.
To realise the targets, since the beginning of
this year, the district People’s Committee has monitored the performance of the
cooperatives and household, and guided them to complete relevant dossiers.
For fresh products, the committee has helped the
cooperatives and household with necessary papers to win VietGap certificate and
others on safe, organic production, packaging and product code.
The district has also coordinated with units and
businesses in and outside the province to support the cooperatives and
household in market seeking amid COVID-19./.
