(HBO) - Lac Son district in Hoa Binh province has considered mass mobilization movement to be one of its important tasks. Many creative and effective models under the movement have been introduced in several fields, including politics, socio-economic development, culture, national defense and security.
Vu Ban town is implementing eight "targeted mass mobilization" in the economic field, such as cucumber growing with the Chieng Trao Street Farmers' Union and raising freshwater Koi fish by a household on Muong Voi street.
Pham Hong Duc, Secretary of the town's Party Committee said, "The party committee suggested discussions with people on Com, Chieng Trao and Muong Voi streets on how to best achieve site clearance, economic, cultural and social development in the area.”
Through dialogues, leaders of local party committees and local authorities can understand the public mindset to solve problems and spur development in the locality. The party committee, along with local authorities are determined to raise awareness of cadres and party members in promoting exemplary leaders.
The district is now home to 242 models under mass mobilization movement, including 119 economic development models, 65 cultural-social models, 43 defense- security models, and 15 political system development models.
In 2021, the district developed 60 new models, mainly in economic development. Outstanding models included: "Chicken raising cooperative" by Bui Van Linh in Dam hamlet, Yen Nghiep commune; "Bamboo and rattan" by the Women's Union of Tre hamlet, Van Nghia commune; "Planting Michelia tonkinensis tree” by Bui Van Dan in Be Tren hamlet, Chi Dao commune; "No one has given birth to a third child" by the Women's Union of Khay Mon and Mu Khuong hamlets, Tu Do commune, among others.
The models are built and directed to address local needs and supported by the people, representing efforts to address actual needs in society./.
Luong Son district is leveraging its existing advantages and maximizing resources to improve infrastructure, aiming to achieve town status by 2025.
Hoa Binh province has employed diverse measures to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for low-income families over the past time. The effort has received the support from the State, all-level agencies, as well as individuals in and outside the province, helping poor and disadvantaged households, especially ethnic minority people, repair or build new homes.
Hoa Binh province’s steering board for implementing the plan on preserving and promoting the values of the Muong ethnic culture and the Hoa Binh Civilisation during 2023 - 2030 held a meeting on November 6 to review the plan implementation. The event was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the steering board.
On November 2nd, the Residential Group No.3, Ky Son Ward (Hoa Binh City) organized the Great National Solidarity and the Culture Festival between the local people and the armed forces in 2024. There was the attendance of Mr. NguyenVan Thang, the Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Secretary of Hoa Binh City Party Committee and the leaders from several departments and branches.
Dong Tien village, Tan Vinh commune (Luong Son), organised the 2024 Great National Solidarity Day on November 2, with Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long attending.
On November the first, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting for the reports on the progress of preparations to hold the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of the special national relic ranking for Trai Cave, the Stone Roof of Vanh village (Lac Son district) and the Opening Ceremony of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of Culture - Tourism Week chaired the meeting.
