(HBO) – Agencies in charge of economic management and statistics in Hoa Binh province have held a conference to review emulation movements in 2022 and launch tasks for 2023. The event was attended by leaders of the province’s emulation and commendation committee and representatives of seven agencies in the emulation bloc.

In 2022, the agencies have promoted patriotic
emulation movements, helping them fulfill duties and surpass targets.
Notably, the Hoa Binh branch of the Vietnam
Social Security has collected over 2.2 trillion VND (93.3 million USD) in
premiums, meeting the target set by the Vietnam Social Security. The provincial
Department of Taxation has collected more than 6 trillion VND in tax, 70.1%
higher than the target set by the Government and meeting the one set by the
provincial People’s Council. Meanwhile, the Market Surveillance Department has
carried out 1,366 examinations, equivalent to 92.86% of the target.
The local branch of the State Treasury of
Vietnam has fulfilled the plan on spending control and payment and met 81% of
the disbursement target for investment in basic construction. The Customs
Department collected more than 315 billion VND in export and import tariffs,
equivalent to 101.1% of the target set by the provincial People’s Council.
Besides, total outstanding loans provided by the State Bank of Vietnam’s
provincial branch topped 32 trillion VND, rising over 3.6 trillion VND or 12.6%
from 2021.
Among the tasks for 2023, the agencies will push
ahead with implementing the Law on Emulation and Commendation; increase the
dissemination of legal regulations, directions, and guidance on emulation and
commendation among cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; and
effectively step up emulation movements associated with their political and
specialised tasks.
Besides, they will also introduce, commend, and
multiple exemplars and good models in emulation movements./.
Luong Son district is leveraging its existing advantages and maximizing resources to improve infrastructure, aiming to achieve town status by 2025.
Hoa Binh province has employed diverse measures to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for low-income families over the past time. The effort has received the support from the State, all-level agencies, as well as individuals in and outside the province, helping poor and disadvantaged households, especially ethnic minority people, repair or build new homes.
Hoa Binh province’s steering board for implementing the plan on preserving and promoting the values of the Muong ethnic culture and the Hoa Binh Civilisation during 2023 - 2030 held a meeting on November 6 to review the plan implementation. The event was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the steering board.
On November 2nd, the Residential Group No.3, Ky Son Ward (Hoa Binh City) organized the Great National Solidarity and the Culture Festival between the local people and the armed forces in 2024. There was the attendance of Mr. NguyenVan Thang, the Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Secretary of Hoa Binh City Party Committee and the leaders from several departments and branches.
Dong Tien village, Tan Vinh commune (Luong Son), organised the 2024 Great National Solidarity Day on November 2, with Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long attending.
On November the first, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting for the reports on the progress of preparations to hold the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of the special national relic ranking for Trai Cave, the Stone Roof of Vanh village (Lac Son district) and the Opening Ceremony of the Culture - Tourism Week of Hoa Binh province in 2024. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of Culture - Tourism Week chaired the meeting.
