More than 1,000 students in Hoa Binh city engage in
a dance performance in January to welcome the Party congresses at all levels.
They have unceasingly nurtured the Party’s
revolutionary ideology while enhancing the study of President Ho Chi Minh’s
thought, morality and lifestyle. Last year, the standing committee of the
provincial youth union intensified its efforts to raise the youth’s awareness
of the provincial Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union
Central Committee’s directives, resolutions, conclusions and working plans. It
has embraced digital platforms, maintaining an active presence through its
website and social media channels, featuring contents that promotes Ho Chi
Minh's ideology and protects the Party's ideological foundation in cyber space.
The movement to study and emulate Ho Chi Minh's
thought, ethics, and lifestyle has gained significant momentum, inspiring young
people to enhance their personal development. This is evidenced by numerous
youth members excelling in academics, scientific research, startup, and
community service projects.
As for local youths, becoming a Party member is
always a source of pride, serving as a driving force for self-improvement and
training.
To cultivate future Party members, youth
organisations across the province have launched various initiatives that
showcase young people's volunteer spirit and creativity in nation-building
efforts. These programs include academic excellence campaigns, university
entrance exam support, and summer volunteer projects, engaging thousands of
youth union members.
Last year, the organisations recommended 3,312
outstanding members for Party membership, with 889 admitted to the Party.
According to Nguyen Duy Tu, Secretary of the
provincial youth union, becoming a Party member represents an immense honor and
happiness for young people. It motivates them to continue their
self-improvement and harness their passion and intellect for hometown
development.
He noted that young Party members have actively
contributed to various initiatives, including social welfare programmes,
environmental protection, and digital transformation projects.
