According to the organising board,
the festival was successful, with numerous meaningful activities, leaving
impression on festival-goers, artisans and performers. The festival gathered
cultural identities of many ethnic minority groups, contributing significantly
to preserving, protecting and promoting the national culture in the country’s
industrialisation and modernisation and economic integration. The event
featured community-based tourism villages while educating the patriotism, and
consolidating the national great unity bloc.
The organising board presents awards to individuals and units for their outstanding performance at the closing session.
In art performance contest, two A prizes went to the Lac community-based tourism village in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province; and the Ang community-based tourism village in Dong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province; while three B prizes, five C prizes were presented.
In the traditional fashion show, Ha Thi Hoa from Lac village, and Hang Thi Qua from Sin Suoi Ho community-based village, Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province won the A prize. The organising board also presented four B prizes, eight C prizes, and seven consolidation prizes.
Hang Thi Qua also won another A prize in the presentation event, together with Dinh Thi Thanh Van from Ngoi village, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. The organising board presented four B and five C prizes.
Lao Chai village, Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province and Him Lam 2 village, Dien Bien city in the province of same name won the A prize for their outstanding layout of tourism products and souvenirs at their booths and handicraft making performance. Besides, four B and six C prizes were presented.
In community-based village category, the organising board presented two A prizes (Ngoi and Ang community-based villages), three B and five C prizes.
The provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to 20 units for their outstanding contribution to organising and participating in the event.

Nguyen Cong Trung, Deputy Director of the Grassroots Cultural Department, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presents certificates of merit to performance groups.
Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee presents the Committee’s Certificates of Merit to 20 units for their outstanding contribution to organising and participating in the event.
