(HBO) - On November 8th, Mr. Hoang Van Tu, the provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council attended and enjoyed the Festival Day of Great National Unity with all residents of Thong village in Tuan Lo commune (Tan Lac District).

Thong residential area has totally 88
households with 420 people, 96% of whom are Muong people, together with 7
households of war invalids and martyrs policy. Implementing the campaign "All
residents unite to build new rural and civilized urban area”, the people here
has contributed 320 working days, which is worth of 48 million dongs, to
construct the inter-village roads and
2,2 kilometers of
concretized roads. Many households donated their lands with total 8000m2. In
2017, the capita income reached 22 million dongs/ person/ year, the number of
poor households decreased to 27 households (30.6%). 100% of the households are
using hygienic water. 100% of the residential households fulfill well the
Party’s policies and the State laws, follow properly the regulations and rules
of the residential area. 100% of the households have audio and visual
equipment. 76/88 households achieved cultural families, more 10 households
compared to 2017.
Speaking at the Festival
Day, Mr. Hoang Van Tu, the provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of
the provincial People’ Council highly appreciated and praised the efforts and
improvement of Thong people who have built a strong residential area in all aspects
and completed successfully all the local movements. Thong village should
continue to preserve the old fine cultural traditions and promote its
traditions, promote production, and stabilize the lives, reduce poverty,
develop economy- society, build the new rural area and a strong system of
residential politics; develop continuously the whole population solidarity of
the national unity to gain much agreement from people in the local residence
and community. The authority levels of Tuan Lo commune and Tan Lac district
take care and support people in Thong village to build a civilized residential
area and develop more and more.

With an increasingly vibrant and widespread emulation movement aimed at building cultured residential areas and cultured families, Yen Thuy District has been making steady progress toward improving both the material and spiritual well-being of its people, while fostering a civilized, prosperous, beautiful, and progressive community.
Once lacking recreational spaces and community facilities, Residential Group 2 in Quynh Lam Ward (Hoa Binh City) has recently received attention for the construction of a new, spacious, and fully equipped cultural house. The project followed the model of state support combined with public contributions in both labor and funding.

A working delegation of the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee led by its Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Toan on June 11 inspected the progress of a project to build the Mo Muong Cultural Heritage Conservation Space linked to tourism services in Hop Phong commune, Cao Phong district.
Born and growing in the heroic land of Muong Dong, Dinh Thi Kieu Dung, a resident in Bo town of Kim Boi district, in her childhood was nurtured by the sweet lullabies of her grandmother and mother. These melodies deeply imprinted on her soul, becoming an inseparable part of her love for her ethnic group's culture. For over 20 years, this love for her hometown has driven Dung to research, collect, and pass down the cultural values of the Muong people to future generations.
In the final days of May, the Ethnic Art Troupe of Hoa Binh Province organized performances to serve the people in remote, mountainous, and particularly disadvantaged areas within the province. These were not just ordinary artistic shows, but they were the meaningful journeys aimed at spreading cultural values, enhancing the spiritual life of the people and contributing to the preservation of ethnic minority cultural identities.
