In 2023, the province's movement of mass physical training and sports has achieved many important results. Thư number of people practicing sports regularly, the number of the sports households, the number of the sports clubs at the grassrootsn and the number of the sports collaborators have all met and exceeded the assigned targets. This achievement has a significant contribution from Tan Lac district.
Thanks to drastic measures, Hoa Binh’s sport sector has undergone a significant transformation, excelling not only in high-performance but also in the mass sports movement.
From December 13th – 15th, at Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium (Hanoi), Vietnamese Journalist Association in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee organized the Table Tennis Tournament of the 16th Cup of Vietnamese Journalist Association in 2023.

The National Championship for the terrain and long-distance cycling in 2023 taken place in Hoa Binh city was a great success, attracting the attention and encouragement of many people in the area as well as the audience all over the country. The riders left many impressions, especially in the province's terrain cycling content.
