Along with distributing commercial snails and snail seeds, the Cooperative has determined to focus on promoting the trade of the product "Hoa Binh stuffed snail sausage”. This is a typical product that the Cooperative is confident in its quality and competitive advantage. Therefore, we want to expand the market for the product through many connecting channels. Currently, the Cooperative's products are being served mainly in the province and gradually approaching some markets outside the province when participating in the restaurant chain of SUN Group, the safe agricultural and food product store chain of Cooplus Company Limited... Initially, the Cooperative has signed contracts with several partners who are tourism and restaurant businesses and expects to find good opportunities when promoting products at the "Week introducing the products of Hoa Binh Province in 2024”.

The event was jointly organized by the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Hoa Binh province in Hanoi. Within the framework of the program "Being Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products” from November 28 to December 1, 2024, in Long Bien district, Hanoi City, Hoa Binh province has 41 units, enterprises, and OCOP entities participating in introducing over 100 types of products. These are all OCOP products, the outstanding agricultural specialties of the localities in the province. Participating in the program, the units and entities have the opportunity to promote products, reaching domestic and foreign consumers. Thereby, it helps enhancing the brand recognition and expanding the market for the products with outstanding quality.
According to the records, the booths introducing products of Hoa Binh province have attracted the attention of many consumers in Hanoi and tourists to visit, experience, and shop. In particular, the most prominent attraction is the products imbued with the identity of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, high-quality products that have been certified with 3-star, 4-star, 5-star OCOP... Preliminary survey, over 70% of visitors at the event expressed their interest in OCOP products, and at the same time, they proposed to expand distribution in supermarkets and convenience stores in Hanoi and the northern provinces. This is a testament to the reception of the capital's consumers, and at the same time it shows the effectiveness of trade promotion of the "Week introducing the products of Hoa Binh Province in 2024”.
According to the Organizing Committee, the program "Being Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products” in 2024 has a scale of about 120 booths, attracting about 150 enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP entities of 32 provinces and cities to participate in promoting about 1,500 regional specialties. Following the success of previous organizations, this year's program takes place at the end of the year, creating a highlight in trade and services, attracting great attention from a large number of people and tourists. In general, with the diversity of designs, types, and quality of products being highly appreciated, the direct sales revenue at the event increased compared to that of the program in 2023.
According to the assessment of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion, the participating units have actively interacted, suggesting potential and trade opportunities. Thereby, it helps promote cooperative relations and expand the market for the products. In particular, the reception of consumers has further motivated businesses, cooperatives, and OCOP entities of Hoa Binh province to continue participating in trade promotion programs, with the determination to expand the market for Hoa Binh agricultural products.
Hoa Binh Province currently has over 870 hectares of tea plantations, with six districts having concentrated tea production areas that boast advantages in soil, climate, history, and distinctive tea varieties: Yen Thuy, Lac Thuy, Da Bac, Mai Chau, Tan Lac, and Luong Son.
