Mr. Giap says: "The Red Cross and the volunteering organizations have helped to build the house, so I am very happy. On the rainy day, we no longer worry about the leaks, we will use the money we saved for repairing the house to buy pigs, breeding chickens for raising, getting out of poverty”.

From the beginning of 2020 up to now, 55 Red Cross houses with the loving names such as the "Home of the Human love”, the "Compassion home” ... have been handed over to the poor and disadvantaged households in the province. They have not only brought joy to the poor households having difficulty getting shelters, during Tan Suu spring, the provincial Red Cross and the donors have visited and handed nearly 26,000 sets of gifts, totaling over 11, 3 billion VND. Handing over the houses has also been integrated with giving breeding cows, donating clothes, books, necessities and so on, making the activity more meaningful.

To have resources for the implementation, the Red Cross of all levels have actively been mobilizing the organizations, the businesses, the philanthropists inside and outside the area. From the mobilized resources, the Red Cross have reviewed and selected the really difficult households to help. In order to help the movement of building Red Cross houses continue to spread widely, the Red Cross of all levels have been promoting propaganda, especially targeting the victims of Agent Orange and the remote and isolated areas.

Mr. Bui Quoc Viet, the Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross, says: "The supported Red Cross houses not only help the poor and the less fortunate people to have the stable accommodation, but they also show the spirit of "the mutual friendship, the mutual love”, "the leaves protect tattered ones” in the community, implementing the social security policies in the area. That is a great source of encouragement in both material and spirit, helping the households alleviate difficulties, and have faith in life”.
