As the Muong ethnic people make up more than 63% of Hoa Binh province’s population, joint efforts have been made to preserve the Muong language. The Muong community in the province now use both Vietnamese and their mother tongue daily with the latter preferred in communication in family life.

(HBO) – The unique beauty of the Hang Pagoda – Chua Caves national historical-cultural relic site in A Dong village, Yen Tri commune of Yen Thuy district comes from the Hang pagoda, a rare Buddhist pagoda in the Muong area of Hoa Binh, which is hidden in a cave, and Chua Caves – a famous scenic site of the locality with a system of caves located in the middle of a flat valley.

She continues to spend time on studying, collecting, and introducing the distinctive values of Muong culture. For Dung, the work she has been doing not only contributes to preserving and promoting the Muong culture in the locality, but is also her way to learn from and follow President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

(HBO) – Curently, in Mai Chau district there are 5 historical & cultural relics and scenic spots recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including Hang Khoai in Xam Khoe commune, Mo Luong and Chieu caves in Mai Chau town, Lang and Pieng Kem caves in Chieng Chau commune. In which, Khoai and Lang caves are two of the 10 archeological relics of typical "Hoa Binh culture” which have been ranked as thye national monuments. To raise the people's awareness and responsibility in conserving and promoting the archaeological heritages, Mai Chau district has implemented many solutions, in which they have paid attention in tourism development associating with the archaeological relics.
