As the number of students is on the rise, building a contingent of young party members among students plays an important role. They are an elite source of the masses that the Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee has directed local Party committees, localities, and schools in the province to pay special attention to in order to supplement the Party's successor force.
The northern province of Hoa Binh has carried out many synchronous solutions to implement the Politburo’s directive on promoting the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle. According to Ha Cong Nghi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Mai Chau Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the district, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Mai Chau plays a pivotal role in bridging the Party, the State, and the people. It has focused on improving communications and mobilisation work targeting various social strata as well as on strengthening the great national solidarity bloc. Additionally, it regularly monitors ethnic and religious matters in the district to propose issues of public concern to local authorities in a timely way.
Yen Thuy district of Hoa Binh province has paid attention to mobilising resources to implement programmes, projects and policies for ethnic minorities to improve people's livelihoods and strengthen the great national unity bloc. The district currently has a total of 17,310 households, of them over 12,000 are ethnic minority families.
