(HBO) – Hoa Binh city is now home to 19 associations for promoting education in communes and wards, with 214 smaller associations in residential areas and nine education promotion committees with nearly 34,000 members. Over the years, the city has seen great achievements in the life-long learning movement, contributing to improving the literacy of the local community, nurturing talents and developing the education-training activities.

(HBO) – After a merger, Thanh Son commune in Mai Chau district covers a large area and houses a large population, mainly ethnic minorities. With the local economic life remaining in difficulty, security risks are latent, especially in terms of drug-related crimes and illegal exploitation of forest and mineral products.

(HBO) – Bui Thi Thom from a poor household in Sao Bay commune, Kim Boi district, is very happy with her new house that was built with support from the district’s Fatherland Front, local authorities, her relatives, and neighbours.

(HBO) - Credit incentives together with other policies of the Party and State have provided timely support to the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction in Phu Thanh commune, Lac Thuy district. By the end of 2021, there were 290 poor households in the commune, accounting for 13.3% while households living near the poverty line were 196, making up 8.99% of the locality’s population.

This is an important foundation for the district to fulfill the criterion of employment and poverty reduction under the new-style rural area building programme.

(HBO) - According to the project implementing the National Target Program for the Socio-economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in the period of 2021-2030, Phase 1 from 2021-2025, there are over 3,900 ethnic minirity households lacking production land, there are over 1,300 households lacking residential land and over 3,800 households lacking housing and they are in need of support. This is identified as an urgent problem in ethnic minority areas.

(HBO) – Yen Tri commune in Yen Thuy district has been effectively implementing mass mobilisation models, combining mass mobilisation work with the implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on " continuing to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

Among the relevant agencies and units assigned by the provincial People’s Committee, the health sector is in charge of coordinating the implementation of the tasks to achieve three main targets, namely 60 communes meeting "commune-wide sanitation” standards, 30 others "sustainable commune-wide sanitation”, and 85 water supply facilities and toilets of communal health stations upgraded or built.

(HBO) - The police in Hung Thi commune of Lac Thuy district have gained strong trust and high evaluation of local residents and administration thanks to the force's close relations with the local community.

(HBO) - Over the past time, the trade union of HoaBinh province’s education sector has carried out many practical activities targeting its members. With the theme of "Stay united and strive to overcome difficulties; innovate, consolidate and improve the quality of education and training activities" for the 2022 - 2023 academic year, the union focuses on organising activities to better protect the legitimate rights and interests of officials, teachers and employees.

(HBO) – As part of efforts to implement a project to support disadvantaged senior citizens (VIE070), and another to reduce the vulnerability of the elderly in income and health in Vietnam (VIE071), Da Bac district of Hoa Binh province has so far established five inter-generational self-help clubs with 260 members. With practical and useful activities, these clubs have helped improve the living conditions of members.
