(HBO) - On January 11, at the municipal culture house, the Red Cross Society of Hoa Binh city, in collaboration with agencies, units and donators, organised the "Humanitarian Tet (Lunar New Year) Market" programme, during which gifts were presented to people living in underprivileged circumstances in the locality.

(HBO) – In the closing months of 2022, most of the localities in Hoa Binh organised mobile job transaction programmes, mainly in remote and ethnic minority-inhabited areas. Notably, the job fair recently held by the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs drew the participation of 40 businesses, employers, vocational training institutions in and outside the province, along with more than 1,000 labourers and students from Hoa Binh city and districts.

(HBO) – After a merger, Thanh Son commune in Mai Chau district covers a large area and houses a large population, mainly ethnic minorities. With the local economic life remaining in difficulty, security risks are latent, especially in terms of drug-related crimes and illegal exploitation of forest and mineral products.

(HBO) - On January 7, in Cao Son commune (Da Bac), the Provincial People's Committee and the Humanitarian Television Center coordinated to organize the program "The People’s Tet in 2023”. From the Central side, there was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Red Cross; Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh, the Deputy General Director, the Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Television; the representatives of a number of central committees, ministries and branches. From the provincial side, there was the attendance of Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Tien Luc, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province; Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Local Organizing Committee.

(HBO) – Khuoc hamlet in Cao Son commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, was once isolated from the outside world. There was only a trail leading to the locality.

(HBO) – Bui Thi Thom from a poor household in Sao Bay commune, Kim Boi district, is very happy with her new house that was built with support from the district’s Fatherland Front, local authorities, her relatives, and neighbours.

(HBO) - Credit incentives together with other policies of the Party and State have provided timely support to the implementation of sustainable poverty reduction in Phu Thanh commune, Lac Thuy district. By the end of 2021, there were 290 poor households in the commune, accounting for 13.3% while households living near the poverty line were 196, making up 8.99% of the locality’s population.

(HBO) – Over the past time, Kim Boi district’s People’s Committee in the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh has made great efforts in infrastructure investment in ethnic minority and far-flung areas in order to implement the national target programme for socio-economic developmentin ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

(HBO) – Youths of Hoa Binh province have always upheld the volunteer spirit in movements for community in the locality, contributing to implementing many practical and meaningful projects.

(HBO) - In recent years, vocational training for rural workers in Kim Boi district has received attention from local administration, thus producing positive results, helping local residents find jobs, increase their income and improve their lives. This is an important foundation for the district to fulfill the criterion of employment and poverty reduction under the new-style rural area building programme.

(HBO) - According to the project implementing the National Target Program for the Socio-economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in the period of 2021-2030, Phase 1 from 2021-2025, there are over 3,900 ethnic minirity households lacking production land, there are over 1,300 households lacking residential land and over 3,800 households lacking housing and they are in need of support. This is identified as an urgent problem in ethnic minority areas.

(HBO) – Yen Tri commune in Yen Thuy district has been effectively implementing mass mobilisation models, combining mass mobilisation work with the implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on " continuing to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style".

(HBO) - In 2012, Mai Chau township was one of the seven administrative units in Mai Chau district which saw complicated security and order situations. Therefore, mass mobilisation has been identified as an effective solution to bring about positive changes to the locality.

(HBO) – The programme on results-based scaling up rural sanitation and water supply, funded through a World Bank loan, has been carried out in Hoa Binh province since 2018. Among the relevant agencies and units assigned by the provincial People’s Committee, the health sector is in charge of coordinating the implementation of the tasks to achieve three main targets, namely 60 communes meeting "commune-wide sanitation” standards, 30 others "sustainable commune-wide sanitation”, and 85 water supply facilities and toilets of communal health stations upgraded or built.

(HBO) – Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training and Phuong Hoang Golf Course Company Limited co-organised a ceremony on December 1 to present scholarships to 300 poor students.

(HBO) – Through job creation support programmes, many labourers in Vu Binh commune of Lac Son district have found jobs with stable incomes, including jobs under contracts abroad.

(HBO) - In the process of development, Cao Phong district has to face many "difficult problems”, including the "problems” of solving jobs for rural employees. In recent years, thanks to promoting quite well the role of the network of community learning centers (CLCs), the district has gradually solved this "problem”, towards the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
