There are two national relic sites in the commune: the banknote printing factory and the complex of Tien Pagoda caves, which attract millions of visitors each years. (HBO) – The Hoa Binh Civilisation, dating back to the Stone Age, was discovered by French archaeologist Madeleine Colani and named after the cave relics found in the karst areas of Hoa Binh province. In Vietnam, its traces have been unearthed mostly in Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces (over 80% of the total relics), while the rest scatter in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Lai Chau, Son La, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and some others. Not only in Vietnam, this civilisation also existed across the mainland Southeast Asia, from southern China to Sumatra Island of Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines.

Just as bricks that are the building blocks of magnificent and monumental architectural works, language is the material constituting literary works in general, including Mo Muong in particular.
(HBO) - In the evening of July 31st, the art program "Hoa Binh - Sound of Muong Land”, receiving the national certificate for the intangible culture, Bamboo Calendar (Doi/Roi Calendar) and Khai Ha festival of Muong ethnic people in Hoa Binh province and Carnival festival in 2022 have officially closed in a brilliant fireworks display. The program marks a strong return to the province’s socio-economic activities after the effect of Covid-19 epidemics, opening the opportunities for tourism development based on the unique indigenous cultural values.

Amateur musical clubs and troupes have been set up in villages and residential areas with the participation of a large number of people of all ages, thus helping enrich the community’s spiritual life and preserve traditional cultural values.
(HBO) - Mai Chau mountainous district is known as a concentrated residential area of the Thai ethnic group. Although in the modern life, it is rare to see images of people wearing traditional clothes every day, Thai culture is still permeated through words, voices, customs or the image of stilt houses, festival activities, and folk songs and dances.
(HBO) - According to Plan No. 127 / KH-UBND, dated on July 18, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee, on July 31, our province hold the art program "Hoa Binh - the sound of Muong” and Carnival in 2022. It is a special art program combining the characteristics of the province's traditional culture with the modern, dramatic, artistic and engaging features.
(HBO) - On July 15, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to agree on a number of contents relating to the preparation of facilities and the content of the art program "Hoa Binh - A place of cultural convergence” and Carnaval in 2022. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the event. The leaders representing the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Transport, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Hoa Binh Electricity Company, and the Representative office of Sun Group from Capital Region in Hoa Binh attended the meeting.

Over the past years, local authorities have paid great attention to the conservation and promotion of this civilisation’s values.
(HBO) - In the early days of May, we had the opportunity to visit the Stone Roof of Vanh village - a national archaeological relic located in Yen Phu commune (Lac Son). The Stone Roof of Vanh village is located at the foot of the range of the white stone mountain in Khu Vanh hamlet, next to the junior high school, not far from the center of the People's Committee of Yen Phu Commune, among four quiet mountains and forests.

(HBO) - The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Hoa Binh Chapter held a ritual on May 10 to commemorate the 2,556th birthday of Lord Buddha at Phat Quang Pagoda in Hoa Binh City. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh was in attendance.
(HBO) - On Friday evening (May 13), Hoa Binh province's upland market in 2022 with the theme "The place of convergence and spreading” has officially opened at the Provincial Exhibition and Convention Center (Hoa Binh City). The festival takes place in 5 days, right on the occasion of the province's hosting of cycling race in the program of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31).
(HBO) - A club to preserve and promote Mo Muong cultural heritage was established in Tan Lac district in early April, bringing together 26 members from local communes and towns. The club has the task of collecting, preserving, and promoting the Mo Muong cultural heritage.
(HBO) - Yen Thuy district in Hoa Binh province is rich in historical relics, currently home to 12 cultural sites. Three of these sites are recognized as national relics, while another nine are recognized as provincial ones. These sites have been restored in recent times, drawing tourism into the area.
