(HBO) – Xa den, a plant scientifically named Celastrus hindsii Benth, is used to treat a number of liver diseases and inflammation, detoxify the body, prevent cancer, and aid cancer treatment. More than 150 billion VND lent to rural clean water, sanitation projects

(HBO) - According to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP)’s branch in Hoa Binh province, in the past nine months, the lending programme for clean water supply and environmental sanitation in rural areas is among those with highest capital disbursement with 150.5 billion VND (about 6 million USD) worth of loans to over 7,800 households. To date, the total outstanding lending of this credit programme has topped 619 billion VND, ranking fourth among credit programmes that the branch is implementing.
