(HBO) – Xa den, a plant scientifically named Celastrus hindsii Benth, is used to treat a number of liver diseases and inflammation, detoxify the body, prevent cancer, and aid cancer treatment. The Yen Tri Agricultural Cooperative in Yen Thuy district has formed a business based on concentrates made from the herb, with their product recognised as a three-star OCOP (One Commune, One Product) goods at the provincial level.
(HBO) – Hoa Binh, one of the localities with an average level in the disbursement of public investment capital, is striving to speed up the work towards a target of completing the disbursement of all the allocated capital by January 1, 2023.
(HBO) – Developing industrial parks and clusters to attract investment will greatly help create jobs, raise income for workers, guarantee social security, and boost socio-economic development. Mindful of this, the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee have paid great attention to the issue. The province is striving to expand the area of industrial parks and clusters to about 1% of its total area - a target set in the resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress.

(HBO) - Implementing the "Farmers emulate in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" movement, the Farmers' Associations at all levels in Hoa Binh province have disseminated information to all communes, wards, and towns, and encouraged association members to participate in the movement. By the end of September, the whole province had over 65,570 households registered for the title of good production and business households.
(HBO) - According to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP)’s branch in Hoa Binh province, in the past nine months, the lending programme for clean water supply and environmental sanitation in rural areas is among those with highest capital disbursement with 150.5 billion VND (about 6 million USD) worth of loans to over 7,800 households. To date, the total outstanding lending of this credit programme has topped 619 billion VND, ranking fourth among credit programmes that the branch is implementing.
(HBO) – Chapters of all levels of the Hoa Binh farmers’ association have been taking practical activities to promote safe practices in the production, processing, and distribution of agricultural products. Currently, hundreds of products supplied by the members are on sale at reasonable prices across the association’s system of safe farm produce stores.
