(HBO) – Kim Boi district has 10 products recognised as meeting 3-star OCOP (one commune on product) standards. In recent years, in order for OCOP products to reach the rating of 3 stars or higher, the district has paid attention to directing and implementing the OCOP Programme to communes, towns and producers with practical solutions, associated with the new-style rural area building movement in the locality.
(HBO) - Doan Ket commune in Yen Thuy district has 400 ha of natural forest. For generations, people in the commune have relied on the forest for livelihoods. Forests bring about abundant resources, including sweet and fragrant honey.

planting the new Thien uu 8 rice variety on a site of over 2,800sq.m. Right from
the beginning of the crop, Phuc's family was provided with the rice variety and
guided through each stage of sowing, planting and caring by staff from the
Vietnam National Seed Group (Vinaseed). With a growth period of 125 - 130 days,
disease resistance, and a yield of over 7 tonnes per ha, the family earned over 32.7
million VND (1,420 USD) per ha after deducting production costs.
